Path’s happy seeds curriculum and programs: for the youngest citizens of the world. PATH ‘s mindfulness and enrichment programs for children seven years and younger, encourage young children to explore and enjoy learning through a balanced academic and “peaceful playing” curriculum. Happy Seeds Curriculum engages children by incorporating the different modalities of learning.
Happy Seeds utilizes exciting songs, art, books, finger plays, creative movement/yoga, storytelling, puppetry, natural science lessons, and academic core standards to teach the important roles of ethical mindfulness, safety, and personal acountability in achieving happiness.
PATH’s Happy Seeds curriculum provides home and classroom behavior management structures such as charts, calendars, and games to teach how to grow seeds of personal responsibility and peace. To honor a child’s imagination and creativity, very specific acts of peace, or Happy Seeds, are connected to Happy Seed Animals. Children learn how to make peaceful, responsible choices through these playful and wise animal friends. We guide children in their discovery of how to care for their mind, body, and emotions bringing about self-esteem, positive habits, and harmonious relationships. Together, we cultivate a garden of lifelong learners!
