    Eliana Morris

    FOUNDER and DIRECTOR

    Eliana Morris is the founder and executive director of PATH Academy and has over 30 years of experience as an educational specialist, classroom teacher, social worker, educational consultant, and mindfulness educator. Miss Eliana has developed evidence-based programs and curricula that explore how mindfulness and service to others are important aspects to human fulfillment. Her PATH programs motivate and inspire a daily practice of kindness while providing an integration of specialized teaching methods, and exemplary best practices of academics. Miss Eliana has also been teaching in programs specializing in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) since 1993.

  • JENNIFER OSWALD

    Jennifer Oswald

    LOWER LEVEL LEAD TEACHER

    Miss Jennifer is the lower L teacher at PATH. She has 18 years of experience working as an educator. She has been a classroom teacher, a reading specialist, Staff Lead Teacher, and Assistant Director of a preschool. She holds a degree in elementary education with a focus on language arts.

    She was inspired to become a teacher after working for the Strong Children’s Museum and National Toy Hall of Fame in Rochester, NY. She found her love of teaching after running the field trips at the museum, as well as creating curriculum for their amazing exhibits.

    Mariah Knight

    OFFICE MANAGER

    Mariah Knight has over 12 years of experience in the banking industry working with mostly a credit union. She has lots of experience in data management, accounts payable/receivable, and public relations. Mariah worked as an event coordinator, where she enjoyed special events & catering for large groups.

    She has put in many hours of volunteering in her community from an early age working at summer camps through the Salvation Army, feeding homeless, to supporting the Diaper Bank, animal care shelters, and schools.

    Mariah is organized & detail oriented.

    Lynette Maya

    SOCIAL EMOTIONAL SPECIALIST

    Lynette connects parents and children with their innate goodness, reinforcing intrinsic motivations for learning, and strengthening trusted relationships. Interpreting the communications of behaviors by attuning to the underlying needs and enhancing positive neural connections. With credentials to coach both children and caregivers, Lynette optimizes continuity, builds confidence and fosters safe space. As an art educator Miss Lynette focuses on process over product, placing value on meaning, relevance and innate inspirations. Her art classes highlight people, movements, cultures and actions that create positive change in the world. Art projects are curated for the students interpretations of these lessons, transforming the learning into lived experience. Final creative expressions serve as empowering mementos for the possibilities of positive change.

  • Mr Nature - Anthony Aldinger

    Mr Nature - Anthony Aldinger

    MUSIC AND STORY TELLER INSTRUCTOR

    Anthony Marc Aldinger was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, and is known amongst friends and family as Mr. Nature. Mr. Nature's Music Garden, LLC was established in early 2013 and facilitates playgroups designed to build and strengthen foundations for positive social interaction focusing on kindness, compassion, empathy and mindfulness engagement through song, dance, body movement, interactive music, instrument fun, storytelling and art! Mr. Nature's Music Garden performs (in-person & virtually) at birthday parties, celebrations, playgroups, in the classroom, nursing homes and local businesses. Mr. Nature fits in almost any situation providing Life Enrichment programming for all!

  • Sarah Fortna

    CONSULTANT, ACADEMIC SPECIALIST

    Sarah received a master’s in education specializing in specific learning difficulties at American University in Washington DC and later received a diploma from University of Middlesex in child and infant development and psychoanalytic theory. She has over 30 years’ experience teaching children from the ages of 3 to 18 in schools both in the United States and in London, England. Sarah directed a successful learning support department at a primary school in London. Her responsibilities included assessing pupils throughout the school in reading, writing and math, developing and supervising learning support and enrichment groups, training teaching assistants, organizing and running professional development for staff and teachers, and consulting with teachers and parents. Her teaching experience includes individual and small group teaching in reading, writing, math and study skills as well as leading professional development seminars for staff.
